Burn with Nero 5.5 slower than 4X? How?

Hiya

When I attempt to burn a VCD using the new Nero is automatically starts to burn the CD-RW at 4X without letting me adjust to 1X or 2X. I've read numerous posts about less problems with VCDs created at a slower speed in Nero. It's not that I dont understand how to select speed...it gives me no option but 4X speed!

If I eject the CD-RW it will let me select 1x or 2x, but then with the CD-RW in Nero automatically goes to 4X.

Any ideas?

That is most likely the only speed the drive will run at. My DVR 104 will only do CD-RW at 4X.
