Problems burning Svcds

I have had no success at burning svcds using Nero 5.5.8.0. It is cutting off the last 5 minutes of each disk. I have tried with switching off the smart burn , different cd r disk(sony, Maxwelll, tdk...) The same results if I copy a svcd from a friend or if I burn a bin and cue. I have many success burning vcds with nero, fire burner. What am I doing wrong? Nero tech assistance no help here. I am using mpegs in mpeg 1 version or allowing Nero to convert them but only with the same results. I am running win xp pro using a liteon 16 x 10 x 40 burner and using 512 ram Please any insight would be appreciated as I am getting futher frustrated.

are you burning DAO? Try turning it off.

also try vcdimager- then just burn the created image with nero.

i'd suggest it's nero.

Get VCDIMAGER 6.2 (CLASSIC) and vcdimager easy front end.
Get CDRWIN and burn at 4X.

This will produce exactly the kind of results you are trying to achieve, and it's all drag and drop. No complicated menus, just film to disc.

The disc should work fine. Although I normally lose 45 secs myself - but this is usually the end credits.

If the disc works then you know it's NERO.
