How do you extract frames and keyframes from .bik files?

Also, how do I use Avidemux to extract frames and keyframes?

What about the .bik files and VirtualDub? How do I extract all keyframes at once?

Why don't you just use ffmpeg as was suggested here. This command given seems to work

I see what you mean, ffmpeg can not decode the source. Directshow can open it with LAV filters installed,
for example, you can use Graphedit.
But I don't know how to get FFmpeg to open a file using Dshow, or if it's even possible

You can certainly open the file in an Avisynth script and use that as input to ffmpeg, but then
access to the original I frames is lost

Yes, you can play it from there, and also save the *.grf file which contains info about the filters used.
But I don't think FFmpeg can open it, and I don't know of a way to automate the extraction of the I frmaes
without FFmpeg
