It seems the source is telecined, so I tried TFM with the default parameters but it leads to blending every few frames + some combing. QTGMC with the standard parmeters leads to blending every few frames.

  2. It's field blended from a 25p source

    Code:
    LWLibavVideoSource("01 - Garbage - Push It.mkv")
    AssumeFPS(30000,1001)
BWDIF(field=2) #or some other double rate deinterlacer
    Srestore(25)

Thanks for help. I'll use that if nothing better is suggested.

  4. QTGMC will usually give better deinterlacing than BWDIF. It will be much slower though.

I know. I'm always using QTGMC even if I have to wait ages. It's quite fast on SD videos, though.

The source is quite bad quality-wise; is there a way to get rid of the aliasing at the edges of objects/persons after QTGMC + SRestore were used?

  6. Try an antialias filter like Santiag(1, 3).
