Hello,
I am capturing through my Studio PCTV card and am using VirtualDub.
Could you please tell me if I should use the data format RG32 or YUV2.
Normally with RGB32, I am dropping frames but not with YUV2. Should I simply change to YUV2 and be happy or should I struggle to see why I am dropping frame and try to use RGB32.
Does it make a difference between the two. Isn't there a third setting "inbetween" the two.
Regards,
Roh

It's not so much which is better as which colorscheme is used by the hardware (academically I suppose you can argue 32bit RGB is better). Since TV is YUV anyway, you may as well stick with the format that doesn't drop frames.
