    i have encoded using tmpgenc to mpeg 2 and dvdit say no gop headers and cant continue . can i burn without all this hassle and play on standalone

    no probably not. Here is a handy guide that finally cleared up everything for me www.dvd2dvdr.com. You can substitue you rencoder of choice tmpeg if you want too put i like using rempeg. Hope this helps.
