It's been some weeks that I'm getting CRC errors from the links that I download using MiPony.

As the files are for film videos, they come compressed as rar, several of them, and it's happening that two or three say they have errors and I can't open and recover the original video.

If memory doesn't fail me, I think this started after I updated Windows 10 to their latest update. The error is always checksum error, that the file is corrupt, but I can't believe that is the case.

Something is happening that I can't identify what it might be and how to solve it.

    Any suggestions?

From the last case? It has happened like with ten URLs already. But here it goes:

    https://www.adit-hd.com/Thread-We-All-Loved-Each-Other-So-Much-1974-ITALIAN-1080p-BluR...y-x264-HANDJOB

CRC problems in files 8 and 9.

Yesterday I tried with my laptop, which also has the latest W10 upgrade and it shows the same errors.

I have an SSD with the previous W10 version, not updated. I think I will try it on the laptop and see what happens.

I'm willing to try again JDownloader as a download manager. But I have received report that is "dangerous" program, that might allow hacking into my computer. To start with, Windows defender has to be turned off to install jdownloader, and later on to block Defender to change anything on JD's folder.

What can you comment about JDownloader?

Where did you receive that report from?
I didn't have to do anything in Windows Defender regarding jDownloader.
    It works fine.

Sorry, how does Streamlink work? It's a file manager like Mipony or JDoanloader?

    It's a command line tool.
You put it in a folder, run cmd from that folder (up in the address type cmd) and use it from there.

The problem for anyone to see this problem is that you have to be registered with Adit-HD, and you also need to be registered with the host, so you can download the files.

The problem continues to happen. Pity I don't have any other place to find these links, to see if the site has any problem. Or that Windows 10 changed anything in its latest update.

Any new W10 updates brings new problems, and now they kind of force you to update. If there was other place to download multiple links, I could see what happens.

Sorry, I know you are well intentioned and want to help me, but I want suggestions on what might causing this unusual behavior, following the explanations I provided.

I have used download managers for more than ten years, and downloaded probably thousands of files. So I wonder what is causing what I described.
