when converting a dvdrip with tmpg enc,i get sometimes a message:illegal floating decimal or something.most of the times it has already converted 80+% of the film.
happened with from dusk till dawn and ali g in da house
both audio files were saved as a .wav file using virtual dub.
    settings on tmpg are:svcd,non interlaced,4:3 display,1950 kb/s cbr.

  4. Yes it is but have you read the rules for the forum.

Go to the top of the page and there is a link for search.

    Just type it in.

BTW your illegal may mean you have a corrupt file, thats all I know about it so that is why I suggested using the search function as there maybe a workaround.

The file may not be corrupt. First go to TMPG, under OPTIONS go to ENVIRONMETAL SETTINGS. go to the VFAPI tab. Right click on DirectShow Media Filter and UP the priority. This should fix you up.
