    A few days ago I submitted some DLT's to the mastering facility and they reported an error with the layer break. I think I found the error and reset the layer break, however, I called them to ask the size (in sectors) of the Layer 0 tape. All they were able to tell me was some of the data from the eclipse report:

    End sector in layer 0: 2295BFH

    Location Of Lead Out: 2295C0H

    I suspect that the one labeled "End sector in layer 0" would represent the sector of the layer break. Problem is that I need it in decimal format (2,xxx,xxx sectors) to compare it to the layer break I have recalculated. How can I convert 2295BFH to decimal?

    2295BFH = 2,266,559

    Should I bonk you over the head now or later?

    You must be tired. That was too easy.

    Yeah, I can do it on my ancient graphing calculator...

    ... but I did a quick Google hunt for "convert hex to decimal" and that was the first result.

    Wanted you to see it for yourself.
    And have a handy tool in case you don't have a $100 calculator in a drawer like I do.
