    Maybe I am just an idiot, but I am trying to take Black Hawk Down AVI file and burn it onto a VCD w/ Nero. I did this before and never had a problem. I used the guide in this site to do so. Now, I follow the steps and it says

    Encoding......
    Done
    C:/My DOc.....

    Then two seconds later it asks the questions about saving it or discarding it and it says DONE at the top. I am not goint into too much detail b/c it is a very simple process and I am not messing around with any settings. I just set it up and two second later it says that it is done, w/out the light on my cd drive even turning on.

    Nero is terrible for conversions from AVI to mpeg, I suggest you use TMPGEnc to convert to mpeg, then drop that into Nero to burn.

    If there are "ANY" problems with the AVI's they will not convert...
