Hello, I have a few 320 Kbps MP3 music files that I want to edit out some of the intros and middle parts. My question is and this might sound totally ridiculous to some of you experts but when I re-save the file in the original 320kbps MP3 format, will the newly saved file become an MP3 of an MP3 if that's even possible ??. Will the quality of the file get worse the more I edit then re-save an MP3 file. Hope you guys know what I mean. Cheers for reading.
Oh, I'm using the new Trial - Magix SoundForge Pro' Studio v13 editing software, thanks.

This depends on the software. Most will decode the mp3, do the editing and then re-encode again. That is a lossy process. I guess Magix is among those softwares but I'm not 100% sure. There is the free mp3DirectCut that allows some basic lossless editing on mp3s. Try that.
