    Hi,

I'm trying to recode an x265 file which bitrate is too high for my device:

    Code:
    ID : 1
    Format : HEVC
Format/Info : High Efficiency Video Coding
    Format profile : Main 10@L5.1@High
    Codec ID : V_MPEGH/ISO/HEVC
    Duration : 2 h 2 min
    Bit rate : 89.4 Mb/s
    Width : 3 840 pixels
    Height : 2 160 pixels
    Display aspect ratio : 16:9
    Frame rate mode : Constant
    Frame rate : 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS
    Color space : YUV
    Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0
    Bit depth : 10 bits
    Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.450
    Stream size : 76.3 GiB (93%)
    Language : English
    Default : Yes
    Forced : No
    I choose H265-10bit.

The dimension tab shows that the source is 3840x2160, and starts with a 1920x816 odd setting, but I cannot go above 1920 for the output. I'd like to set it to 3840x2160.

    What am I doing wrong?

Edit: clicking on another custom preset unlocked the size limitation. I don't know why exactly, but it's working now and I could save a 4K preset.

  2. Resolution is probably limited by the selected preset. You can create a new one which allows higher resolutions.
