If you use SpruceUp just put mpv and ac3 files with the same name (i.e. film.mpv and film.ac3) to the same folder and import mpv file. SpruceUp will take ac3 file automatically. This will save time also because SpruceUp will not have to demux mpeg before creating vobs.

  4. Or use Maestro instead of SpruceUp, as I mentioned in another thread. Maestro is much more advanced than SpruceUp. You may create anything you see in commercial DVDs using it.
... Yeah, and it is so much more expensive!

Maestro will do it, but you will have to sell your car to buy it. I hear it is great, but I have never used it. SpruceUp will take an encoded AC3 file, so will ReelDVD. WinDVD PE will change a 5.1 AC3 to 2.0 AC3, but it has the encoder built in to do the 2.0AC3. I don't think you can use TMPGEnc or BBmpeg to mux an AC3 file with m2v. But I may be wrong. Scenarist will also do it, but you have the same $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ issue that you have with Maestro.
