This development just materialized earlier today.

HC Encoder apparently only encodes/processed the video fed into it leaving the orginal audio/.wav file intact.

I need a dvd compliant MPEG-2 file with MPEG- layer II audio.

AC3 audio doesn't work in my particular case.

What muxer/tool(s) are up to the task without re-encoding the video?

    How would you solve this?

    Thank you.

  2. .m2v + .wav audio is DVD compliant. If you need MPEG layer II audio, just load your .wav file into an audio encoder like ffmpegGUI, BeSweet/Belight/Behappy, DAudioK, etc... and convert it, then use your converted audio and .m2v file with your authoring app of choice.
