  1. ok, ripping to dvd to [s]vcd following the guide.
    Ripped ok, used dvd2avi ok [i think] then when i select the .d2v file for the video channel in TMPGEnc it says unsupported, am i missing something, have i installed a plug-in incorrect or missed one??
    All this is confusing, first video i've tried.
    Please can any 1 help me??
    btw the .d2v was 400kb in size [hour and a half video][/url]

    checklist:
    dvd2avi.vfp is in the same directory like dvd2avi.exe
    TMPGEnc.vfp is in the same directory like TMPGEnc.exe
    run TMPGENcVFP_INSTALL.bat
    check TMPGEnc vfp is registered to VFAPI (TMPG>option)
    check VFAPI plugin (dvd2avi>help)
    TMPG> option> enviromental setting> VFAPI> check dvd2avi project file reader and/or select a higher priority.
    Do not delete the .vob files. Do not move the .vob and / or .d2v unless you want to edit the .d2v manually.
