I have a Walmart security video dvd. I do know they have a special codec MNM4 and that they have a evidence reviewer to watch this......but, I would like to burn this dvd onto another one without all the security, special codec etc. Is that possible? I just want to make it a regular "watchable" dvd.

Take a laptop with a USB capture device attached to it, play it in real-time at work and capture it.

The mnm4 uses the r5 codec which is freely downloadable from the manufacturer (March Networks), allowing you to play in standard Windows media players & editors.

If you can "see" it, you can "record" it.
An easier way would be get the surveillance system to produce a normal DVD.....like one that would be given to police for evidence.
