Mpv configuration

Hello everyone. Does anyone know how to set up this program? I put a file called mpv.config (document.txt -> mpv.config) in this direction C:\users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\mpv\mpv.conf and I wrote this configuration:
volume-max=<100>
But when I open a video file the maximum volume is at 130 not at 100.
My intention is not to reduce the maximum volume but to learn how to configure mpv.

Works here. Try without < and >:

volume-max=100

File must be named "mpv.conf", not "mpv.config".
