Okay, I just picked up some 99min cd's from yesbuy.net (don't buy from there unless you're comfortable paying as much for shipping as for the product) and successfully overburned my XVCD onto one(at least i thought so--no errors in nero). Unfortunately it didn't play in my pioneer dv525 very well.
When I look at the CD in windows it shows as have 2 cda files????? What gives here--is this normal for overburned cd's to show up as cda's??
Could it be my bitrate was too high (2.45mb/s MPeg-1 352x240) or could it be the DVD player won't play overburned cd's? I've checked around and i can't seem to find anywhere how much of an overburned cd a pioneer dv-525 will accept. I would love to here from anyone with experience in overburning to shed some light on my dilemma!
thanks!

Evil surprise. the pioneer dv-525 stops @ 88:30 or around there, right.
doesn't play 99 min cd-r's completely. use 90 min cd-r's. Burn to 88:35 max & it should play.
BTW the dv-525 does not have too many other limits.
Good luck! -
THANKS DOGLOOP!!!!
