Need to more info, what type of sub are you working with?Idx/sup or blu-ray sub or srt? I think, therefore i am a hamster.

It is ASS format ? I have only feeling that 3 is the shadow. But You can try Subtitle workshop - output settings and there uncheck shadow under ASS or what subtitles format it is.

I believe this is ass and it can be opened in a text editor and edited if needed

Code:[V4+ Styles] Format: Name, Fontname, Fontsize, PrimaryColour, SecondaryColour, OutlineColour, BackColour, Bold, Italic, Underline, StrikeOut, ScaleX, ScaleY, Spacing, Angle, BorderStyle, Outline, Shadow, Alignment, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, Encoding Style: Default,Arial Narrow,32,&H00FFFFFF,&H000000FF,&H00000000,&H00000000,0,0,0,0,100,100,0,0,1,2,1,2,10,10,10,1

ok i'll try changing the second 2 into 0, i assume that is the shadow Windows 10, MPC-BE

{\fs20\a2} are ass override tags. It defines the font size to 20 and the justification to center.

But perhaps if you uploaded some more and clarified the problem. If it's an ass file you could use Aegisub to do the necessary editing.

yeah i edited my post. i only copied that script years ago because someone told me it gives an opaque box to every line, i assume the 0000,0000,0030,, is the opaque box. that is the extent of my knowledge of ASS subs. Windows 10, MPC-BE
