  1. I'm trying to render a two hour project in Premiere Pro CC 2015, but every time I do, the end result is a video that shows a two-hour runtime but always cuts off around 56 minutes. The file is also half the size it should be, so Premiere is outright failing to render out the entire project. Unfortunately, I've gotten no error messages, and thus nothing to reference when searching for a solution.

  2. What do you mean by "cuts off" ? Is it "black", does it continue to play? Or does it stop in the player at 56 minutes?

Have you tried other players? (could it be a playback issue? ) e.g. VLC, MPCHC, Potplayer, SMPlayer

What about audio ? Is it cut off , or blank etc... ?

Before you export, check the preview in AME, and scrub past the 56 minute point, does it look as it should be or is video "cut off" before even exporting?

What about exporting different formats? Try uncompressed AVI for example

A workaround might be to export it in sections as a lossless video and join them if you can get the 2nd part to export

The player stops at 56:34. I use both VLC and MPC, and it happens in both of them. There is no audio after this point because there is nothing to play. Like I mentioned in my initial post, the file size is about half of what Premiere estimates it should be, so the data just isn't there.

As far as AME goes, I'm not sure what you mean. If you're talking about the preview window, it plays fine there.

  4. I added some comments after your post.

Test exporting a small section, say from 61 minutes to 62 minutes. Try other formats other than h264/aac/mp4. If you're able to export something past that point, you might be able to salvage the project with a workaround

Is that mediainfo report for the exported file ? Because it doesn't look correct for an Adobe export - it's VFR (variable frame rate), and doesn't have any of the Adobe metadata

Yes, it's from the exported file. I grabbed the info out of the properties window in MPC.

If my current attempt at exporting the project fails, I'll give this a shot.

  7. The solution was to delete the video clip that was causing the finished video to stall out halfway through and then reimport it. I guess it got corrupted the first time it was imported.
