  1. Hello humans. I was shooting a sketch and the wireless lav that was taped to the table is showing. Is it possible for me to remove it? I wasnt using a tripod. Image

  2. Without knowing the action, duration and full composition of the shot it's hard to make a judgement.

There are a number of methods for tracking and painting out the mic, but if they're not done well they can draw far more attention to themselves than what simply looks like a smudge currently.

    Greetings, Fellow Video Enthusiast,

Cut out a section right next to the lavmic, and float it on top of the lavmic. This example gives you an idea. Of course, you still need to blend it in better, but pretty straightforward.

NOTE: This method retains all the motions of the camera. So the extra effort to blend it in is far less work than motion tracking. Easy Peasy. A simple gradient will probably do the trick. Just feather it out on the ends. You're basically doing a floating PIP, or you might call it a "Traveling Corrective Matte".

Here's an example of the gradient. I forgot to feather both ends, but you get the idea. Notice how the gradient accomplishes the blend on the right side?

You might try a radial gradient to get rid of those corners. You can make a custom gradient still and really dial it in.
