MPC HC/BE freezes/crashes my PC.

So I used to use MPC HC a lot, then switched to MPC BE because I like the interface more. However, a problem has occurred on both. I have a big YouTube folder with a ton of files (hundreds), and some contain similar names and I listen to them while doing other stuff (like a music artist or something). So, in MPC HC/BE I had "play next in folder" under "after playback" selected. It went great for a long, long time, but then it started freezing my PC when switching files. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it don't, but it's way too frequent, and my only solution has been to restart my PC. I'm currently using Potplayer instead, which mostly works, although I've run into a different problem that I'll make a different post for. Anyway, Potplayer seems to be able to switch between files without freezing my PC, no problem whatsoever, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
