    The preview stretches/fits to window.
    View > Pane layout stays checked even when clicked.

    Any idea how can this be fixed?

    EDIT:

    I found the value "auto-size panes" in the registry, and changed it from 1 to 0.

    For future reference, that option can be found in the "View -> Pane layout" menu within VirtualDub.

    For some reason it only worked when I changed the registry value.
    The GUI option was stuck.
