EmEditor and subtitles

I like to have centered tekst on screen when watch movie, even in cases like

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
- Bbbbb.

to me is much pleasent to look at



In searching the way to be independent of players settings, I thoght if I could achieve aligned tekst in SW ( to do formating), this would be right thing. I was thinking this thing could be fixed with macro in EmEditor, and ask my facebook friend Mr. Yutaka Omura for help. Insteed macro, he send me this link

and advise to try with AlignCenter plugin for EmEditor. Unzip, and put AlignCenter.dll in EmEditor-s folder (you can use portable 14.8.1 version (last one for XP)). You don't need AlignCenter.txt, I supose this is written kod for plugin.



Unfortunetly, plugin is written in japanese



I tryed something with plugin with one selected line ( or 2, 3 mostly), and maked, but I don't know how. So plugin works. And because SW is associated with srt and sub files, as result, now every subtitle I load in SW is automaticaly centered. As if SW memorized settings from a consolidated file and now it applies to all subtitles.

Even the line like

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
- Bbbbb.

Please someone to explain me what heppened. Seems to be, plugin afected whole subtitle. I can't figurate how it work.

And now, I'm convicted it can be written script for SW which will do same thing.

Every player I have, show centered subtile during play, exept Pot Player. How to force it on this?

Also, I'm not sure it's neccessary to do such things if every player can show centered text. It would be nice post in one place what needs to be done to make this possible for common players.

Does it change the srt? Adding spaces/tabs? html center tags?

Maybe potplayer ignores those. In Potplayer under Subtitles->Subtitle settings and deselect "Ovrd center-align to left..." or try other settings.
