    When capturing NTSC thru Composite Input through my Pinnacle Studio PCTV card, I get only black and white. When I change the setting in Vdub to PAL, it does display colors, but then the picture is not correct.

    Check your video source setting in VDub. I capture through my S-Video port, and if my video source is set to Composite, its black and white.

    In VDub capture mode, check Video-->Source... and make sure its Composite.
