  1. Hey all. AVIs and DIVX files have no thumbnails and I'm not sure how to fix the problem. I tried Icaros but all that did was enable FLV thumbnails which is what I needed it for anyway. Could it be interfering with MPC-HC?

It sounds like an issue with icaros, once in a while my xvid avi lose their thumbnail, the way to get them back was to deactivate and the reactivate the icons in icaros, think i'm going to uninstall it and reinstall MediaPreview. Was more stable in keeping the thumbnails.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

  3. Nice, that worked thanks. MediaPreview seems like a much better program

I know that Codec Tweak Tool recommends using Icaros instead but sometimes I can't get Icaros to show certain thumbnails and have to use both Icaros and Codec Tweak Tool to enable all thumbnail view.

I know that I've used Media Preview in the past. Not sure why I'm not using it now.

For images, I'm using Sage Thumbs. I believe that was for .psd thumbnails. Both Sage Thumbs and XnView have a Explorer context menu that shows thumbnails in the right click menu with options to convert to other image file types.
