    I`m frameserving .avi files from Vdub 1.4.9, to Tmpgeng 2.53 plus. (making VCD`s)
    I usually start the conversion when I go to bed, then it`s finished in the morning.
    But lately when I get up the computer have crashed, usually 5-6 hours into the conversion.

    Never had this problem before, please help!!

    CPU overheating, perhaps?

    I am having similar problems, however on many occassions the encode will run to 100% then perform an illegal error. Not quite sure what I am doing wrong here
    This happens on downloaded movie files (avi etc)

    I`m only encoding .avi files that I have captured, and I`ve been doing this for over a year without any problems.
