When the decoder from Daala will?
Have a omission developers "Tears of Stel".
Look in the video where you can see the iron pipe extending through roof of the house -
Come on, nobody uses VP9 or Daala ---
--- and if you use them, then you are nobody -
" Daala is the code-name for a new video compression technology. The effort is a collaboration between Mozilla Foundation, Xiph.Org Foundation and other contributors.
The goal of the project is to provide a free to implement, use and distribute digital media format and reference implementation with technical performance superior to h.265. ", - said Professor of > http://www.xiph.org/daala/
Not having had time to be born, as you buried him. -
I found vp9 in ffmpeg 2.2.2, but don't know how to use it or if it is possible.
And I just download a video from youtube, in webM (container of vp8/vp9), so, because of it, I suppose there is a way to encode videos.
---
about the Daala... it's the 1st time I hear about it. I'll look for it. Seems kinda interesting.
