Seven Samurai which is almost 3.5hrs long is spread across two DVD's. I'd like to seamlessly merge the main feature (movie only) as one giant DVD, and place it on a BDR "without re-encoding" in Blu-ray format. Ideally I'd like to keep the original chapters. If I cannot, it's not a deal breaker. What steps/software do you recommend to accomplish this?
I assume for the last step, I'll need to use DVDtoBD Express (in which case I'd lose all chapters) or BDRB's new feature that allows adding multiple DVD's to a BDR.
Thank you in advance for your input.

How are you going to handle the subs if your plan is to join everything into one? I think you're biting off more than you can chew. Yes, they can be joined. Yes, the chapters can be joined. But the whole project entails a lot of work. Just to create a seamless version of the film?

Use dvdfab to rip to your hdd and add both folders in multiavchd as dvd and author as blu-ray.
