  1. Great app deank! Question to all - every thing I have done with it (builds 740-751) is to convert dvd compilations to blu-ray compliant, so like 4 movies to BD25 or even an entire television season. Every time though, the audio comes out much softer than the original, not nearly as loud. I have to crank the volume practically all the way up to hear it (and I am not going deaf). It is all ac3 going in, and I do not transcode to different properties, just the format conversion. Any and all help to fix the audio issue I am having greatly appreciated (would like audio coming out to sound as similar to audio going in as possible). Thanks!

  4. If your original DVD audio is AC3 (with lower or equal bitrate to the one set in Non HD audio bitrate box) multiAVCHD does not touch it and you're getting the original audio track.

In case the audio is re-encoded then it is another case, although it shouldn't come out softer. Which one is it?

  5. Original DVD audio is AC3, and usually 5.1. I do not have any HD audio on them but the bitrate box you refer to is at 448kpbs for non-HD audio to AC3 and HD audio to AC3 at 640kbps. Volume is coming out about 50% quieter (or so). Thought it might be a volume gain issue, but I do not see a setting for that. Though it may be more than a volume issue because when I do crank it up the quality does not seem as good as source.

  6. A log will be helpful, but you can replace 448 with 640 and then it is guaranteed that DVD audio will not be converted.
