  1. Hey guys. I have a movie i want to stream using a client called Plex. However, it seems Plex won't recognize it due to the 7.1 MA format profile i assume. Any easy wa for me to drop it to 5.1 surround without spending hours? I do have xilisoft video converter but i only want to change the audio. Any suggestions? Media Info Below

    Audio
    Format : DTS
    Format/Info : Digital Theater Systems
Format profile : MA / Core
    Channel(s) : 8 channels / 6 channels

P.S. I cannot say for sure it will not work, however it will not even show up in the movie folder where it is storedwhich i have never seen happen. So, i assumed it is because plex cannot recognize something. Any other ideas? The file is also 29gb. From what i have read Plex can read HD audio but not 100% sure

Remux what? You usually use a multiplexer mkvtoolnix, my4mp4boxgui.

Or do you mean the fastest program that can reconvert the audio?

To convert the audio I recommend the ARCSoft DTS Decoder and eac3to then call
    eac3to "inputfile" "outputfile" -down6 -640
    via the command line.

To remux all your stuff you might use MKVToolnix, MP4Box...just like Baldrick already suggested...
