I recently learned how to hardsub videos using XviD4PSP but it takes a really long time to complete the process. I managed to hardsub 2 videos and it took me the entire day.

Is there any way to make the encoding process any faster without losing the audio/video quality in the final output? Like some options I need to tweak?

Not really sure what sufficient info I should provide but here's the log (or whatever it's called) of the video that just recently got successfully hardsubbed:

The main problem is your CPU. An intel atom n2800 isn't really enough for hd h264 encoding.

You could try make a xvid avi and see if it's any faster.

When I switch the format to AVI, the video and audio encoding change to FFV1 LossLess and MP3 CBR 128k. Should I keep it that way or should I revert the video and audio encoding back to x264 Q21 HQ Film and and AAC-LC VBR 0.45?

No, change to avi hardware. And it should use the xvid codec and mp3.

Or do you must use x264/h264?

When I switched the format to AVI Hardware, video encoding was set to MPEG4 1P 1500k Turbo and the audio encoding was set to MP3 CBR 128k. Should I change those to another ones or...? (If so, what specific options should I choose?)

Not necessarily. Anything will do so long as the audio/video quality isn't lost + encoding will be faster (faster than the previous ones I did at least).

Tried it and the encoding was completed in 37 minutes. Quality is still good but the resolution was reduced from 1280x720 to 640x360. How can I keep the resolution in the final output?

Turn off AVI Hardware. Maybe try AVI Hardware HD. And the encoding times will increase dramatically.

You need to manually set the resolution. You very badly need to search for a guide and look at it to answer your questions on this rather than expecting us to do all the work for you. I'm not trying to insult you, but you could really help yourself by finding a guide first and then asking questions afterward.
