A few days ago, when playing around with Xvid4PSP, I learned that it comes with a "Constant Ratefactor, 2-Pass" encoding mode. I really don't know what to think about it. What's the use of this? Is it any good?

2-pass encoding mode is good if need an exact output file size. If you don't need it use constant rate/quality factor.

Thats the point. It is CRF, not 2-pass (with fixed bitrate) encoding. (see OP)
