Hey folks,
Currently I am using DVD Shrink to rip current DVD's and burning them with CDBurnerXP flawlessly. My question however, is that I have several ripped from previous programs (MakeMKV) and downloads in formats such as .mkv, .flv, .avi and .mp4. I was wondering if anyone could suggest an app to burn straight up with these file extensions (has an internal file conversion) or a 3rd app that can convert to VOB so I can burn. I do have Quick Media Converter, however unfortunately without degrading the video quality it doesn't work out very well. I have been successful once using the "DVD" option on QMC however every other time ends in an error and there is no audio attached to the video.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

Moving you to our video conversion section. mkv/flv/avi/mp4 to dvd conversion is not dvd ripping.
Try another dvd video converter like avstodvd or convertxtodvd. -
Thanks for the additional assistance. I'm not sure why, but with the .mkv video files, when I try to convert using DVD Flick, I receive an error message. When I use AVStoDVD or even QMC to convert to DVD, the audio is off track with the video by about a second. I don't have any other issue with the other file extensions. Any idea?
**I tried ConvertXtoDVD and voila! I'm not sure why this is the "only" app I seem to have luck with, but I suppose I won't complain. Cheers!
