    i need a step by step suggestion on how to capture video from one source and audio from another and marry the two, then I need to edit it (very basic) somehow. Lastly I'm on a shoestring budget (i bet you wouldn't have guessed that). We have the camera, we have the audio mixer(digital). we just need a way to capture them and edit them. Please suggest a computer and a dvd burner or video mixer or whatever in order to capture and marry. Thank you very much!!!

    very basic but what you probably are lacking is video editing software. try sony movie studio. it is a free trial for the first 30 days i believe.
