Hi guys, I'm just new here and I found this site through google. I just want to ask some help since Avermedia is ridiculous company. Their forum site is most likely a ghost town.

    Anyway here's my story:

I received my Avermedia Broadcaster HD C127 today. I plug it in in my computer. But my problem is when i put my ps3 to hdmi and run AVerMediaCenter 3D through my computer it doesn't display anything. It just hangs up and black screen.

Any idea? I don't have hdmi splitter. I just hooked-up my ps3 via hdmi directly to avermedia. And when I use RECentral it just display black screen and when I click the record button it says "protected by HDCP".

Also I'm using DVI for monitor display and my PCIE slot is 3.0 which is different from what Avermedia require(PCIE 1.0).

I already did a clean uninstall, updated my driver etc, still no luck.

Black screen with or without my PS3.

As you can see in my device manager. its working just fine.

    Computer Specs:
    OS: Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate.
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Rampage IV Gene LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0
    CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K
VIDEO CARD: EVGA GTX 670 FTW
HARD DISK DRIVE: Seagate Barraccuda 1TB 7200RPM
    SDD: Samsung 830 256GB
CASE: Cooler master HAF X EATX Tower Case Black
COOLING S: Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100 Extreme Performance
    RAM: Corsair CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9R Vengeance 16GB
    POWER SUPPLY: XFX 750W

Any idea? Do I really need a splitter to display something from my computer monitor? or I'm the only one who have this problem? I'm planning to use fraps so that i won't spent my money again but with this.... I really don't know if the product that I got has a deffect or not.

I'm really confused since this is my 1st purchase of this kind of stuff.

    Thanks in advance.

Try reset video options on your PS3. (Turn on, hold the power button, 2 beeps, release power button. Its reset PS3 to default video settings.

Connect your PS3 on AVER and try.
