Hello the flac 5.1 is not playing like most aac or any 5.1 file that automatically turns into a dts or dolby digital on the file conversion I'm using CCCP any ideas?

FLAC is lossless. Did you know that, by converting FLAC to AC3 or DTS, the audio loses quality

yes but i was under the impression that ac3 / dts send the correct sound to the correct speaker for surround sound that way my reciever can manage all of that.

The ffdshow audio decoder has an option for converting the audio to AC3 in it's output section but I've not used it that way myself.
If it's working for file types other than flac, then make sure flac isn't selected in MPC-HC's internal filters (the one listed in transform filters). Restart MPC-HC if you change that.
Open the ffdshow audio decoder configuration, select codecs on the right and find flac in the list to enable it (if it's not already).
Edit: Whoops... I missed where you said you're now using lav audio. I don't know anthing about it.
