  1. Hello everybody

I know this has been discussed several times (I used the forum search), but I still can't find a solution.

Here's the problem: when I open any MPEG-PS (MPEG-2+MP2) movie with VirtualDub-MPEG2 1.6.19 and I try to play them, I always get this error:

No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format.
    (source format tag: 0050)
and I can't play them - I only can scroll through the frames at different speeds but I hear no audio.

    Why?

If I open the movies with VLC, PotPlayer or Windows Media Player, everything is ok instead. I can play the movies with regular video and audio.

Thank you in advance for your precious help

P.S.: I tried to download the "MPEG-2 / DVD (by fcchandler)" import plugin/filter at http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/Plugins/MPEG2/ but the website is "temporarily unavailable" (the picture in that page says...)

  2. Humm... I "solved" the problem downloading and installing VirtualDubMod instead of VirtualDub-MPEG2. Now the audio is present.

    VirtualDub"Normal" has built-in support for MP2 audio.

As for the input plugins by fccHandler, you can get them from:
