  1. I have just tried to convert SHREK from dvd to vcd, used DVDDecryptor, then DVD2AVI, then Tmpgenc. The resulting MPG file when played on the computer before burning to disc has the audio playing about 800 ms fast all through the movie. I've never had this problem before, have I forgotten to do something?

  2. in dvddecryptor, goto options and then enable Multi-angle processing....try again

shrek has multi-angles during it's intro, if not taken out, they will cause outta sync audio and repeating frames

  3. I've seen this before, and a lot of times it's just a problem with the way Windows Media Player handles the file.

In other words, when I watch the movie in Windows Media Player it is out of sync, but when I burn the movie to a CDR, it plays fine in my DVD player.

Also.....once I had a 1.6GB (90minute movie) MPEG2 file which was out of sync when playing in Win Media Player, then I cut the MPEG2 in half so I could burn it onto 2 CDRs. I tried to play each half of the MPEG2 in Win Media Player, and to my surprise both MPEG2's were in sync!!!

    Go figure that one out!!

My advice, burn it first and see if it is really out of sync before you spend another 1.5 lightyears encoding it!!

Let me know if it works....
