Hi,
I've searched, but didn't find an answer: How do you burn subtitles to an .avi when you have only a .sub file? Several recent downloads
have the .sub file but no .idx. I've found Windows media player will use it ok, but Plex media service doesn't. I put all my movies on a file server and play with Plex Media Server thru a Roku box.
Thanks,
Joe

If it's really half of a VobSub and is missing its IDX, you're out of luck I think. If it's the text-based SUB (you can open it in Notepad and read it), at worst you'll have to convert it to another text-based format such as SRT.
Maybe look for replacement subs at a subtitles site? -
OOps! Didn't real ALL of the docs. When the frame rate was adjusted, the srt file seems to be in sync.
