too bad that if you look at AMD's roadmaps there's 2014 cpu's will be lucky if they beat intel's entry level 2013 cpu's, everything i have seen about Haswell has it twice as fast as IB at the same power consumption levels, with runors that the E variants will be true 8 core 16 thread beasts, couple that with 256 bit integer simd (AVX2) and AMD's latest claims that it's aiming for a 30% performance increase over Piledriver by 2014 and i can't see anyone choosing AMD for their custom build.

only time will tell, i for one would like it if AMD just shocked everyone and decided to go with a true dual core clocked at 5-6ghz and added some really beefy simd units, maybe leapfrog 256bit and go straight to 512 bit simd, but i know that's a wet pipe dream.
