  1. Howdi all..

ok so i recorded 2small video clips on my laptop..

    10 mins and 12 mins..

now they both worked perfect.. i then plugged external HDD into my laptop xferred the files to the HDD then once completed, i unplugged ext HDD and plugged into my PC and noticed the 2nd video clip only plays for 3mins then stops ( should be 12mins )

i then open the laptop back up and noticed a read/write error msg with the file name in question... it had actually xferred over to the ext HDD fine it went to 100% and made the beep noise to say it was completed..

i have tried opening with AVIRepair, selecting good working clip for source then the dodgy file.. then opened in VirtualDUB, selected " extended open options" checkbox must be checked "
let VD repair damaged index, but it only shows the 1st 3mins of the clip in question..

ive also messed around with DIVX++ i always use fresh copy of the corrupted file after i try to fix it,

kinda stumped here what to try next, anyone any ideas ??

    thxx in advance..
