  1. It crashes upon execution.

I realize MeGUI runs off the .NET 2.0 framework which I believe is corrupted on my drive. It fails to uninstall or install. I uninstalled it completely with Revo Uninstaller Pro but I'm still unable to install a fresh one over the top.

    Any ideas?

  2. Have you tired .NET framework 4.0? MeGUI should run with any version from 2.0 upwards. The way I understand it a program which uses .NET will use the latest installed version, but if that fails it'll fall back to an earlier version, or something like that. I think that's the reason why you'd normally have multiple versions of .NET installed when a newer version is released.

Not that it sounds like it's an MeGUI problem in your case but a while back I had a minor problem with it. I filed a bug report and it was fixed pretty quickly, but most other people weren't experiencing the same issue as it only occured with .NET 2.0. If you had .NET 4.0 installed the problem didn't occur.

  3. It's fixed. MSIEXEC had to be /REREGISTER'd.
