    Thanks, I already tried Audacity, It recorded the file but when I played it back there was no sound but you could see the bar in media player moving like it was playing a file, But I didn't select "Stereo Mix" as the source so I will give that a try, Then I will also give firefox an cdwave a try.

  7. Also make sure "Stereo Mix" or "What you hear" is selected as the default recording device in your audio manager.

    Look in your taskbar in the lower right-hand corner, it's also in your Control Panel.

    I have Conexant High Definition Audio as my audio properties but I still can't find anywhere to change the recording mix to stereo mix, It only shows a microphone as a recorder.
