  1. Hello all,

I have a video I uploaded to myspace a few years ago and since then my hard drive crashed. Basically I just want to download this video to my computer as a backup. Here's the link to the myspace page:

    http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=47582551

Any suggestions on what software I can use to download this video clip?

    Thanks!

  3. I've tried a few sites like that. When I right click and try to save file as, nothing happens. When I click the link it says: 'the protocol (rtmp) isn't associated with any program' I'm using firefox 3.6.

  4. You'll have to use screen recording software for encrypted RTMP feeds.

  5. I only need to get one clip. Is that software free? Which one would you recommend for capturing from MySpace video?

  6. VirtualDub is free and has a screen capture module. It's a bit clunky though.

  8. Did you actually try it? It doesn't work with encrypted RTMP videos. They are not cached locally.

  10. Try Any FLV Downloader or download the url you got from http://download-youtube-videos.org/ with RTMPdump (it should be rtmpe://akafms-videos02.myspacecdn...

  11. RTMPDump worked after installing OpenSSL and the MSVC8 redistributables. I used the following command line:

    rtmpdump -r "rtmpe://akafms-videos02.myspacecdn.com/ondemand/73/vid_13d26949d9874220b1321a07881136b5.flv" >output.flv
