Help ! I need to convert a vid from HuffyUV to Lagarith but the colours have gone crazy ! In Virtualdub (1.9.11) and Vegas (7.0a) the colours are psychedelic, but they look fine in Media Player Classic (recent version of K-Lite Mega).
If I convert the file to Lagarith in Virtualdub is carries over the crazy colours (which then also show in MPC).
How can I get the file to play with the correct colours in Vdub and Vegas ?

There are a few different, incompatible, versions of huffyuv around -- for example ffdshow and huffyuv 2.1.1. Media players use DirectShow decoders, VirtualDub uses VFW decoders. So the two are probably using different versions of huffyuv. Figure out what version MPC is using (right click on the video while it's playing and hover over Filters, you'll see the decoder in the list) then use the same one in VirtualDub (VFW version, obviously).
