This may be OLD NEWS to many of you but I came across this trick in an old post on another website.
If you rename the .VDR file that VirtualDub gives you to .AVS....it will open in MainConcept Reference(as long as you have AviSynth installed.) I normally frameserve to TMPGEnc Plus but I have been having some audio issues to TMPGEnc Plus and I can also easily retain my LPCM audio with MainConcept Reference....so I been using it instead.
I'm using the following:
VirtualDub 1.8.5
MainConcept Reference 1.6.1
AviSynth 2.5
This may be helpful to dummies and newbies like me.
Now all I need to do is figure out how to frameserve out of AviDemux and I'll be a happy camper.
