I am new to this site so I don't know if I have posted in the right forum.
I have just bought a ROCO 50257 DVD Player from Aldi UK.
Is there a way to make it Region free?

I picked this up yesterday. I tied a bunch of region free codes for tevion and silvercrest models. But nothing seamed to happen.

In the end i just stuck a region 1 disk in and it worked. I am not sure if it was never region coded or one of the ones i tried just randomly worked.

Thanks for the reply, I tried the same codes but to no avail.
I put in a disc that had IRL on the cover of the disc (I presume this is Ireland) The player just said "no disc".

I will keep on hoping someone will come up with a solution.

Just an update: The DVD player was misreading my discs, I swapped it for another and everything is ok now.
