  1. system...ATI AIW 8500DV...ASUS PB4 board....80 gig HD...all works well...what I'm trying to accomplish is to put some VHS tapes onto a cd. Using Ulead 5...I am able to record to hard drive from VHS, thru my DV camcoder. However when setting up Ulead, it asks me for a template. I have heard that I am capturing too high of a resolution. Even when I play it on full screen it is fuzzy. Should my template be AVI..MPEG?...720X360...240X120.????. desperately confused! Also remember that I am trying to put this to a VCD format....What encoder should I use and to what format. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well, VHS is 320x240 resolution... you should capture right into VCD compliant template (352x240 for NTSC or 352x288 for PAL), but you may try capturing 352x480 and afterwards, resizing into 352x240 in TMPGEnc.

    That's a beginning.
