Gang,
HELP!!!! I have an MPEg-2 movie captured in 352x480 (2500 bitrate). What tools can I use to convert to 480x480, so I can make a SVCD movie? Thanks.

Why convert it?
Most DVD players will play 352 x 480 (1/2 DVD resolution) just fine. If you are using Nero to burn your discs, just click of "Make Compliant SVCD" or whatever it is called...
However, if you REALLY want to convert it.Just do it in TMPGEnc. Guides aplenty located on VCDHELP.
Of course, you probably wont be able to open the MPEG2 directly, so try running DVD2AVI on it (like you would a DVD rip). Save the project file and open this file as the video source in TMPGEnc and the MPA file as the audio. Apply the SVCD template and convert it.
Still... 352 x 480 is a good thing. I do all of my SVCD's in this format and have much less block noise then when doing a 480 x 480 SVCD.
Good luck.- bewley
